This piece features a stunning Green Peafowl male and female standing before a dense bamboo grove. Unlike the more familiar Indian Peafowl, the Green Peafowl (Pavo muticus) is a wild and formidable bird, larger, more iridescent, and increasingly rare. Native to Southeast Asia, this species is classified as Endangered due to habitat loss and hunting. A range map is included, highlighting the bird's shrinking territory across Myanmar, Thailand, Java, and beyond.

This piece was painted using high-quality oil paints on MDF board, a smooth and durable surface. A handmade solid wood 1" frame is included. Including the frame, the piece is 14" x 26". A certificate of authenticity is included.
